About Us

My fishing partner (Clay Herrin) and I are the only 2 tournament directors, but we will have a few other anglers that will also be competing in OEA help us during the check-in and weigh-in process.  Since this is a 100% non-profit tournament trail, my partner and I will also be competing right along with the rest of you.  We made the decision to start this trail simply because there were no trails that had low entry fees with 100% payouts that fished all of the lakes that we enjoy fishing.  Starting this trail has allowed us both to get back into the world of competitive bass fishing while also providing the public the same opportunities.  The membership fees ($50 per team) will be used to pay for ramp fees, tournament scheduling permits and fees, lake permits, reserving pavilions, fuel, website fees, trophies and plaques, and year end prizes.  We will be having 2 flipping/pitching contests where we will be giving away 2 fishing rods which will also be purchased with the membership fees.  The money collected from each contest will be donated to a charity designated by our Platinum Sponsor (Kent Stone w/ Joe Cooper in Shawnee & Jerri Yates w/ Keystone Boat & RV Storage Ada,OK).  We will be updating our website often with any OEA new, pictures, AOY Standings, tournament information, etc.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will be happy to help in any way we can.  We look forward to a great season of competitive bass fishing and Christian comrodery.
